getting around

So far I'm really impressed with public transportation. 3 years ago the subway didn't take you anywhere and we took taxis the whole time. Now, the subway is the best (air conditioned!) way to get around. it's great.


The stations light up so you know where you are. Im getting really good at saying Hepingxiqiao (the station closest to home), mimicking the automated voice on the train .

big, clean, brand new train stations. And glass walls so you don't fall in!
