Come on in...

Since our tour guide seems to know everyone, he tells us that a friend of his lives just up the road and if we want we can go in and see his house. It's a traditional house in the medina so it will be interesting to see.

Turns out, it's a mansion, complete with courtyard, guest rooms and of course, six fountains. Based on the narrow streets we've been walking through, it's quite impressive. The owner invites us in with warm smile, "have a look around." but don't outstay your welcome, I have some napping to attend to.

This guy just got hired to come over and do a little tile work. And, no, the tiles don't come with designs on them. These are hand made. They are just plain brown tiles that he's chipping away at with that giant axe looking thing as he lays them down. Seriously. If you can get your tile contractor in the states to do that, give me a call.
